As a Sales Support Leader, your role will be to manage, develop and coach the drives and motors sales support team in Argentina, aiding the sales organization in finding optimal solutions to meet customers’ needs.

Reporting to the Local Division Manager, you will create, implement and review local sales strategies in line with the global strategy.

You will also define key targets for sales and customer support.

Your responsibilities

  • Overseeing the creation of estimates, bids and proposals to ensure they are in line with ABB procedures and guidelines as well as legal requirements.
  • Ensuring that offers consider the market situation and customer conditions.
  • Assigning resources for technical and commercial assistance, and preparing proposals to maintain excellent technical and commercial assistance for customers.
  • Assisting the sales organizations during encounters with customers, and providing technical assistance and clarification as needed.
  • Monitoring customers’ needs and competitors’ offerings through market intelligence and insight from sales teams.
  • Guiding, motivating, coaching and developing the skills and knowledge of the sales support team.
  • Your background

  • 5 years of experience working as Sales Engineer with drives and motors in the oil&gas, electrical and pulp&paper market.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a management / leadership role.
  • Management experience in sales and / or sales support, with a proven ability to anticipate customer needs and market trends
  • Advanced communication, influencing, coaching and management skills
  • Bachelor's degree with experience in sales for drives and motors.
  • Advanced English.
