Job Summary :

The Transportation Analyst is responsible for improving transport efficiency whilst managing costs and minimizing environmental impact.

His role will support the operation of our IT support systems with specific responsibility for smooth data integration between Transport Management Systems.

The role will provide support for all financial activities and ensuring service providers are paid in accordance with agreed terms.

The role will also provide general support for transportation processes and activities. Other key processes that this role is responsible for include but not limited to : Freight Settlement & Analysis, TMS Implementation and Execution, Supporting Carrier and 3PL Management Routines, KPI’s Management, Carrier Freight Claim Management, identify and follow up critical materials / ingredients to avoid stock out in CPS Argentina, identify and take action when new regulations or changes related with import / export process are in place.

Critical Areas of focus : Freight Settlement & Analysis, Process Improvements, Data Analytics, TMS activities, Process Leadership, Vendor / Carrier Management, Carrier Performance Tracking / Trending

Key Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Support inbound and outbound activities and key business contacts to expedite logistics plans in areas related to Transportation.
  • Report trends on transport activities and carrier defects to support transport team utilizing analytically tools, eg Power BI.
  • Provide tracking support for loads in transit through utilizing tools available.
  • Participate on global and operational transport relevant projects including IT supports eg SAP / TMS Functionality, Track N’ Trace technologies and Transportation Process execution.
  • Execute master data maintenance tasks within TMS system to ensure proper routing, transit times, rates and hazmat conditions exist for all materials and customer lanes.
  • Prepare baseline file for RFQ / rates submission and assist with budgeting preparation and other financial activities.
  • File / Process and follow up on carrier claims
  • Lead continuous improvements initiatives related to transportation analyzing processes, implementing recommendations and follow up on action plans.
  • Manage and ensure the timely closure of quality notifications related to transportation carrier defects
  • Lead investigations on non-conformance related to carrier defects and assist in the implementation of corrective actions (SAP Quality notifications i.e. F1 & F4).
  • Support internal and external audits with requested documentation and assist during the audit period. Prepares finding report and work in collaboration with the Manager to prepare the action plan.
  • Drive process improvement through operational excellence and digitalization projects
  • Collaboration with internal teams. Establishing routines and communication plan on status updates and key business briefings.
  • Support SPS, new business models, BCP activities including activation, budget and operational management.
  • Undertake freight settlement activities and analysis including managing SAP workflow tasks, ensuring timely payment of carrier invoice, support for budget and financial activities.
  • Ingredient coverage monitoring to identify critical import orders. Management of SAP and mainly of the MRP of the ingredients
  • Backup Logistics Supervisor role
  • Support TCCC sustainability goals and metrics through partnerships with carriers, 3PL providers and the Global Logistics team.

    Graduated from Foreign Trade / Engineering / Business Administration.

    Ingredient coverage monitoring & analysis in order to prevent missing parts Financial analysis to support for budget and incremental costing activities

    Manage Short-term / Long-Term priorities to accomplish with weekly routines and with special projects.

    The Transport analyst must perform improvement analysis for the operations that are carried out. Must follow up together with the Logistic Supervisor the ingredient s coverage to identify critical orders.
