Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Market Research and Consulting Analysts based in Buenos Aires. You will be a member of an international team of analysts supporting consulting projects and online subscription products covering diverse markets.

As a member of the analyst team, you will collect & analyze data on market conditions & business opportunities, author market studies, and develop relationships and conduct interviews with major market players.

This position requires the candidate to help build our business practice by developing insightful strategic research, proactively supporting client engagements and providing organisations with up-to-date market intelligence.

Additional information

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct secondary research using Frost & Sullivan resources, web-based and printed publications, and other available sources of information.
  • Conduct primary research with a variety of market participants including vendors, service providers, channel partners, end users and industry organizations.
  • Develop quantitative and qualitative market analyses, focusing on market drivers and restraints, market and technology trends, market growth metrics and competitive dynamics.
  • Draw powerful conclusions and provide growth strategy recommendations to clients based on available research and market expertise
  • Present research findings privately to clients or to broader audiences at public industry events.
  • Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience :

  • A relevant university degree (BA, BS) in business, marketing, market research, economics, journalism, or technology. Master’s degree preferred.
  • The ability to research and write a coherent story in proper English about a topic is critical.
  • A foundational understanding of consulting / research / investigative journalism methodologies and business modelling (primary / secondary research, coherent story development).
  • Enthusiasm for supporting business development initiatives that benefit the entire team.
  • An analytical thought process, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and business level fluency in English.
  • The desire to learn public presentation skills in front of an audience and a video camera.
  • Confident enough to present your work to a group of peers or a client and defend your analysis in a calm and professional manner.
  • A team player who views team collaboration as an important path to professional development.
