Job Description
As a Derivatives Operation Analyst, you'll be responsible for performing control reconciliations to verify market and derivatives attributes within multiple information management systems, investigating derivatives market regulation and contract changes affecting our on-going reference database;
while focusing on process re-engineering, task simplification and automation.
Responsibilities :
Upload market and client data (position attributes, pricing, buying power, account linkage) on different trading platforms and risk management systems.
Perform reconciliations against market sources to verify trading positions are accurate and ready for trading and settlement.
Investigate and provide solutions to various queries from different stakeholders at an efficient pace.
Support monthly tasks and track metrics to ensure a controlled performance environment.
Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations / technology enhancements (new system implementations)
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including :
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Strong logical mindset, with the ability to work under pressure with a large volume of highly time / risk sensitive tasks
Passion for process simplification to proactively find solutions to problems with the ability to understand complex systems
Availability to work from 10 am to 8 pm
University Graduate
Previous experience in Banking Customer Service industry (operations roles) is valuable
Knowledge of IA tools such as Alteryx and UIPath is preferred; or willingness to learn.
