As Country Director, you will lead a sales force of highly skilled and ambitious Googlers based in Argentina. You will be the official face of Google from the perspective of an advertiser, publisher, and government official and will help shape how these local partners and consumers view Google.

In this role, you will focus on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

You will execute on the overall vision and market strategy for Argentina, build a sales operation capability to provide premium service to Google’s top advertisers, and assist teams in managing key accounts.

Additionally, you will provide business critical insights and identify sustainable growth opportunities while ensuring cross-functional alignment of goals and deliverables and demonstrating general management capability in driving initiatives forward.

Finally, you will support talent mapping and people operations in the region and represent Google at industry events, meetings, and hold interviews with relevant media contacts.

  • Be the general manager for Argentina to develop and execute the overall country strategy.
  • Build an advertising sales operations capability and provide premium service to Google’s top advertisers.
  • Ensure product launches are successfully communicated to your local market.
  • Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Google products and services.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in advertising sales and general management.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • MBA.
  • Experience in strategic development of Fortune 1000 customer base.
  • Experience in organizational development and working with a diverse team in a global environment.
  • Strong people management skills with experience growing and improving a team.
  • Excellent relationships with customers and agencies in Argentina.
  • Ability to lead by influence and execute to drive results.
