Account Manager (S&P Global Market Intelligence)

The Role : Account Manager Primary Segment.

Grade (relevant for internal applicants only) : 9

The Location : Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires candidates should be living in AMBA- no remote work allowed outside of AMBA region-

The Team : As the key partner for our clients, the Account Management team masters industry and product knowledge to keep clients informed.

Account Managers works with their clients to learn about the challenges and opportunities they face and discuss how Market Intelligence solutions can enable them to achieve value through their partnership with our organization.

The Impact : In this role you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the exciting expansion of our client segmentation model.

You will be a part of the global Primary team dedicated to providing high quality client experiences through a self-disruptive mindset and collaborative pod structure.

This team will have a special focus on the growth of the overall book of business through greenfield opportunities in addition to renewal of existing business.

  • Responsibilities :

  • Proactive outreach to assigned accounts to ensure client satisfaction through thorough understanding of customers’ workflow
  • Discuss current service use case
  • Assess clients' needs for new opportunities and work to close greenfield sales
  • Ability to excel in a matrixed environment by coordinating with Prospecting, Customer Success, and Marketing to promote book of business growth
  • Manage incoming calls and e-mails from assigned accounts
  • Provide client training through a variety of channels
  • Contact all new contracts added and users to drive product adoption
  • Act as point person for timely client resolution when engaging cross-functional department across MI organization and provide feedback to product management
  • Document all client interactions and actively coordinate outreach efforts with thoughtful use of CRM tool
  • Secure renewal through coordination with pod lead, manager, and other teammates
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate MI's value subscription pricing effectively and clearly
  • Maintain and grow industry knowledge by attending webinars and other topical trainings
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • What We’re Looking For :

    Basic Qualifications :

  • University degree or equivalent education
  • Professional, fully fluent English speaker
  • Experience working with corporations and professional service organizations in a client service, sales, or product support role / setting
  • Interest in solving problems for clients through the delivery of market data solutions and analytical tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Salesforce
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and confident in delivering product demonstrations
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in client-facing roles
  • Adapting to changing technology and familiarity with CRM-software (like, SalesLoft, etc.
  • Provide superior customer experience through creative problem-solving skills and implementation of long-term planning / strategy to meet the client needs
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective, influential negotiator
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with curious attitude, willing to learn
