On this role YOU will be responsible for providing supervision on month / quarter-end activities ensuring high quality accounting and implementing monitoring controls so as to comply with SOX requirements within the J&J Medical Devices Organization.
Main responsibilities :
Ensure SOX compliance within the J&J Medical Devices organization (support management in maintaining a strong internal control environment, through SOX processes and controls according to Johnson & Johnson policies and standards).
Review J&J corporate guidelines (ICH, WWP, etc.) and related updates to ensure processes and controls are compliant and up to date.
Ensure tight collaboration and communication with GS (Global Financial Services) to grant timely and accurate accounting and reporting.
Enhance efficiency by looking to optimize methodology of working, in processes and operations impacted by compliance, through Continuous Improvement.
Work in tight cooperation with HCC (Health Care Compliance) and RM&C (Risk Management and Compliance)
Monitor CAPEX process management (Fixed asset tracking)
Act as a consultant and advisor as regards issues related to our policies and processes. Be a facilitator to the Commercial team and other support areas adding strong value.
Ad Hoc requirements and projects.
Education level required : Bachelor’s in accountancy, Economic, Business or related field (required)
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in corporate finance. Prior experience on financial reporting (US GAAP Accounting), audit and internal control (Sarbanes-Oxley) and Big four experience will be valued
Advanced English (written and oral)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, etc.). Experience with SAP is preferred
Flexible and pro-active approach to work and ability to solve difficult situations using own judgment
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks is required
Highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity
Ability to forge collaboration across the businesses and departments through business partnering
This role reports to our Finance Controller Southern Cluster
Location of the role : Villa Adelina, Thames y Colectora, Buenos Aires, Argentina or Santiago de Chile, Chile.
