Lazard Argentina is seeking to recruit an Analyst to join our office in Buenos Aires. At Lazard, Analysts are critical members of lean deal teams that will work with a managing director and a middle level investment banker.

The analyst will be given significant responsibility and will receive client exposure, deal experience, and an understanding of transaction structures.

Role and Responsibilities

In most M&A assignments, the Analyst assists in the following :

  • Preparation of pitching materials
  • Business research
  • Spreadsheet, business plan, budget and forecast preparation and analysis
  • Financial analysis and valuation
  • Preparation of Confidential Offering Memoranda
  • Improving the quantitative quality and timeliness of all client-related work
  • Qualified candidates must possess a combination of the following attributes :

  • Strong undergraduate academic performance
  • Background in accounting, finance, economics or industrial engineering (preferred but not required)
  • Graduated or expected to graduate before September 2021 (Full time job)
  • Excellent English and Spanish oral and written skills
  • Ability to work on a demanding schedule
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to perform at their best
