This is an opportunity to partner with the global Hydrocarbons manufacturing organization and Hydrocarbons Technology Center to ensure robust Operating Discipline Management System (ODMS) and learning system deliver safe and reliable operations across the Dow Hydrocarbons technology.

About youThe Hydrocarbons Management System / Learning Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining technology specific management systems that complement the global and legal required management systems.

Additionally, this role will be responsible for creating, maintaining a learning strategy and program, and ensuring delivery of appropriate learning opportunities to increase expertise across the organization.

This role may act as a working team lead, providing subject matter guidance and coordinating work of others. Additionally, this role requires excellent project execution and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the diverse teams across Hydrocarbon's manufacturing.

The preferred locations for this position are : + Houston, TX, USA+ Lake Jackson, TX, USA+ Orange, TX, USA+ Plaquemine, LA, USA+ Hahnville, LA, USA+ Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada+ Bahia Blanca, Argentina+ Bohlen, Germany+ Terneuzen, The Netherlands+ Tarragona, Spain+ Midland, MI, USAPlease Note : All other US Gulf Coast locations considered.

Relocation is not provided.Also, you can complete each of the following tasks : + Establishes a learning network within the organization to implement the learning strategy, and associated plans which will meet global, business, and functional learning objectives.

  • Represents the business in appropriate global networks. Works closely with the training coordinator network and other networks to leverage implementation of learning initiatives across the organization for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Initiates the development of learning resources to support the organization's learning strategy utilizing Instructional System Design.
  • Acts as the subject matter resource for the learning system and coaches training coordinators and employees on how to access and utilize learning resources.

  • Works closely with key stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective implementation of learning initiatives.+ Establishes and ensures ongoing resource support for a learning organizational structure to implement the learning strategy.
  • Collects, monitors and reports learning measures for the organization, including training compliance for the Technology Center and expertise index data for the business.
  • Coaches local curriculum owners on curriculum design, implementation and maintenance.+ Develops and implements role curricula consistent with the organization's learning strategy.
  • Serves as the organization's learning representative to appropriate internal and external teams or networks.+ Oversees global learning project implementation in area of responsibility, as needed.
  • Develops and drives learning improvement opportunities and communicates to the global, business, or functional learning network as appropriate.
  • Coordinates and works with other ODMS support and implementation roles to "implement" and "maintain" the ODMS.+ Acts as the organization subject matter expert for the overall management system.
  • Drives the Plan DO Check Act cycle of continuous improvement.+ Coordinates and facilitates ODMS Deep Drills across the business.
  • Develops and maintains ODMS and learning dashboards for the business.Required qualifications+ A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a + A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (, engineering, manufacturing or related).

  • Your preferred qualifications include : + Experience with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) preferred.Your skills, knowledge, and abilities include : + Being proficient in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel.
