Mantainance workshop Manager
DEPARTMENT : INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS
Coordinates and controls workshops maintenance activities, ensuring the reliability and quality of the maintenance service for installations and equipments to ensure maximization of equipment useful life and process continuity.
Defines and shares the workshops policies and plans, in accordance with the maintenance plans, programs and scheduled activities of descentralized areas.
Supports descentralized areas in the definition of its maintenance budget, in order to optimize the useful life of installations and equipments.
Ensures workshop activities are performed in accordance with quality, time, cost and safety standards, decreasing the occurrence of failures associated to infant mortality.
Optimizes working cycle in the workshops.
Coordinates the overall management of the workshops by effectively interacting with other key areas (Maintenance engineering, BMGs, other workshops, etc.)
Defines executes and follows up the Master Plan in the area of responsibility. Supports descentralized areas by optimizing resources assigned to its corresponding maintenance plans
Ensures the proper support to BMGs regarding critical equipments
Ensures feedback from internal and external clients in terms of quality, time and cost of services, in search of continuous improvement opportunities.
Ensures the management, update, and proper use of Maintenance information systems, in order to support the decision making process.
Ensures the application of health, safety and environment standards and practices.
Fosters the implementation of maintenance programs to minimize / optimize the use of required energy and promotes improvement actions in general, including interventions on employees' behaviour, in order to decrease all resources consumption waste.
Ensures contribution from a technical perspective in the analysis and solution of highly complex issues in the area of specialty.
Complies with HSE procedures, report any incident or observation, perform inspections and participate in the investigation process.
Implement the preventive / corrective actions. Keep updated the risk analysis and the environmental aspect assessment.
Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his / her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.
Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his / her area.
