As a Carrier Relations Manager at Mitto, you will work together with the Global Carrier Relations team and an experienced team of telecom experts.
Our new team member should have a proven experience dealing with telecom operators, a strong interest in technology and business analysis, perfect communication and great self-organization skills.
What you’ll do :
Work with the Global Carrier Relations team at Mitto to identify the correct strategy for LATAM, and lead the strategy execution across the region
Set up new and manage new and existing operator relationships, as well as local partners, with the support of the Global Sales team and Product Management, by continuously adapting the strategic plan for the region
Build carrier relations by making initial contact, identifying key stakeholders, building trust with the decision-makers from opportunities profiling till operator partner onboarding
Maintain long-term business relationships by identifying new business requirements and opportunities
Learn the industry, and give inputs to the Product Team on new opportunities for Enterprise Messaging, Verification Solutions, and other mobile engagement services
Act as an advisor for existing carrier partners and share Mitto’s experience in other regions globally
Work with the Mitto technical team to set-up new connections post-agreement execution
Participate in relevant industry events and conferences in the area and represent Mitto in the telecom market
You need to bring with you :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in carrier relations and business development with mobile operators
Engineering degree and IT services knowledge
Self-starter - you will work with a remote team; thus, you have to act proactively and reach out for support
Strong drive, persistent, determined and comfortable working with decision-makers on all levels, including both technical and commercial
Entrepreneurial, creative, quick-thinker able to understand technical solutions and business needs
Outgoing personality who enjoys reaching out and building relationships with new people
Fluency in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus
International experience with good understanding and ability to adapt to different cultures
It would be great if you have :
Experience with Enterprise Messaging and Wholesale Voice Services
Experience in working in the Telecommunication industry
