Job Summary
This position will support Quality programs for Semtech's Colorado Springs manufacturing site. If selected, you can look forward to supporting plant quality systems while working with a talented multi-disciplined team to solve problems and report audit findings, driving continuous improvement in the quality management system.

Responsibilities :
Suggest solutions to identified product problems
Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy
Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
Oversee continuous improvement projects
Collect quality data
Identify key KPIs for product quality
Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management
Additional Responsibilities
Focus on continuous improvement and achieve quality excellence through the application of best audit practices in areas such as risk-based thinking, new product / process qualification and validation, product and process control, root cause analysis and change control.
Use audit findings and corrective actions to solve problems to drive meaningful quality improvements and establish best practices.
Take responsibility for quality audit activities. This includes audits of process validation and qualification of changes and new products or materials, and continual improvements of our products and business processes.
Work on multiple projects exercising sound judgement with audit findings and corrective and preventive actions of the quality management system.
Support manufacturing site to achieve corporate quality compliance.

Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a significant amount of that time in quality related initiatives desired
Must be able to work a flexible shift, including nights and weekends when needed
Be goal oriented, having a quality first mindset
Knowledgeable of ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 standards preferred
Manufacturing and semiconductor quality experience preferred
