Your challenges and objectives :
Work towards building a product that understands human languages as they come in resumes, cover letters and so on.
Produce statistic-based estimations and metrics to assess the results of machine learning models, evaluating machine results against human results.
Learn, collaborate with different teams and grow while tackling complex technical challenges in a fun and encouraging working environment.
Help refine our ML tools and models as we apply them to wider domains
Your day-to-day activities :
Work on functional specifications of features (specs) : interpret and analyze, but also give feedback for them.
Interact with internal teams to get internal and external feedback, to improve our ML tools (e.g. resume parser).
Design and write the code for NLP features and tools.
Perform technical analysis of existing code and perform refactors to improve code quality.
Perform code review.
Promote and apply best practices during the entire development process, from the very early stages of technical analysis and design of solutions, to the monitoring in production.
About you :
Software engineer or computer science major (advanced student or graduate)
Curious and up-to-date on how to solve industry-related problems with ML
Working experience in OOP
Fluency in Java
Knowledge or background in ML o NLP is a plus
Intermediate English skills.
