This role directs the marketing and sales activities in Electrification Distribution Solutions business area in Buenos Aires, Argentina, tasked with setting and profitably achieving key targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the LATAM and Global Marketing and Sales Manager, you will define and implement sales and marketing initiatives in line with strategy, while proactively leading, developing and coaching the marketing and sales team.

Your responsibilities

  • Define and implement the local sales and marketing strategies ensuring growth and achievement of targeted sales, margins, market share and customer satisfaction
  • Lead Country & Sales organization to grow geographic coverage and channel penetration
  • Drive customer collaboration initiatives locally to support profitable growth for both Division and Electrification business area
  • Building a robust sales organization with assistance from HR, through best practices, training, and cross-collaboration
  • Overseeing studies of the market and competitors, defining market segments, and developing and maintaining effective tools and metrics to monitor the market
  • Establishing strong customer relationships, utilizing feedback to ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale
  • Conducting contract risk assessments and working closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks
  • Identifying new business opportunities as well as a clear strategy to convert them
  • Your background

  • 5 years of commercial leadership experience in large, complex, fast-pace, matrixed, innovative industrial organizations, with direct management of large sales and marketing teams
  • A bachelor’s / master’s degree in Electric, Electronic, Industrial Engineering and / or Business Administration or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of electrification solutions and products attending customers such as utilities companies and distributors
  • Experience in dealing and understanding of the global industrial and commercial market and in the design and execution of commercial plans and strategies
  • Financial statutory and contract management knowledge
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office and SAP as well as in Digital Solutions
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills and negotiation skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a professional, can-do attitude.
