Account Management

  • Developing, executing, and adapting integrated account plans for key customers based on market insight.
  • Interfacing with a wide range of cross-disciplinary stakeholders, including but not limited to key stakeholders and critical influencers within National, Provincial, Union and Private HMOs, other Institutions, as well as other specialty groups.
  • Coordinates effectively with other Human Health personnel to bring approved company information and resources to decision makers in assigned accounts.
  • Establishes relationships and maintains an effective communication network with the customer at multiple levels, including corporate personnel, medical directors in charge of provider networks, quality directors, service line leaders and financial directors.
  • Gains deep knowledge of each assigned account through internal research and proactive gathering and integration of information from various stakeholders within the account, e.
  • g. business model, relevant business metrics, unique challenges, and strategic goals.

  • Develops a breadth of relationships within each account to ensure an understanding of each account’s objectives, goals, and challenges and identifies approved resources that are aligned to the customer’s needs.
  • Serves as the primary interface between the Company and the customer and is responsible for the overall customer experience with stakeholders in the account.
  • Knowledgeable on reimbursement relevant to Takeda s products and provides approved information related to reimbursement process.
  • Proactively identifies business opportunities with assigned accounts and leads appropriate coordination to support materialization of opportunities.
  • Serving as the central point of contact for key corporatized and large specialty medical groups for a wide range of portfolio products (Oncology, Gastrointestinal, Rare Diseases, Hematology and Immunology).
  • Leadership

  • Act in an ethical manner, complying with our policies, always having as a priority the benefit of the patient in the outcome of our actions.
  • Develop relationships based on trust, to leverage Takeda s reputation with all of our stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's Access strategy.
  • Communicate effectively value proposals consistent with the quality of the Company's treatments.
  • Increasing access to key decision makers by developing opportunities within the Key Account.
  • Applying a range of large account management, clinical expertise and negotiation skills to grow the business; building support for our portfolio of products and enhancing our status with the customers.
  • Engages the Medical Affairs personnel as appropriate in order to properly address customer needs.
  • Sets vision, objectives, strategies and plan for use of approved tactics to achieve business objectives and improving patient health outcomes.
  • Scientific / Clinical Proficiency

  • Provides approved, disease and product information and resources to key decision makers and stakeholders at the executive and implementation level within accounts.
  • Maintains knowledge of standards of care and emerging clinical trends and relevant diagnostics advances, and can articulate approved, on-
  • label product information related to these topics.

  • Understands principles of health economics and the clinical implications. Shares specific customer requests with Medical Affairs point for the account to enable appropriate customer engagement when relevant and aligned to account coverage.
  • Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in health or business sciences preferably (physicians, pharmacists, biologists, biochemists, biotechnologists, economists, business administration).
  • Minimum of 3 years ’experience in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience as a KAM in the industry over 2 years.
  • Deep knowledge of the Argentinian Health System.
  • Demonstrated accountability .
  • Creative and Innovative displaying creativity in both thought process and solution design and demonstrating the ability to develop and champion new ideas or processes within the organization.
